For your companion's health, safety and well being our requirements for entry are as follows:
Because we strive to maintain a pest-free environment, all dogs are required to be bathed prior to entering the boarding facility. Because we don’t bathe cats, they MUST be on a flea preventative. We will require proof of this either with a call from your vet or a receipt with the date of purchase.
Cats
All cats entering Hi/Lo Kennels are required to show proof of current shots (you can bring a copy of the bill or have your vet call us and verify the dates). This is what will be needed:
- Feline Leukemia (FeLV)
- FVRCP
- Rabies
Dogs
All dogs entering Hi/Lo Kennels are required to show proof of current shots (you can bring a copy of the bill or have your vet call us and verify the dates). This is what will be needed:
- DHL combo (distemper/hepatitis/lepto)
- Bordetella (Canine Cough)
- Parvo & Corona
- Rabies
Please note: vaccinations should be given several weeks in advance to your pets anticipated arrival.
We advise all clients to discuss with their veterinarian the new CIV shot.
We LOVE PUPPIES and KITTENS and welcome them BUT, we don’t feel that it is safe for young puppies or kittens who have not completed their series of shots (16 weeks) to be exposed to a public area.
We highly recommend your pet be on a flea preventative year-round. We use Frontline. Of course, all pets should be on a heartworm preventative!
Because we strive to maintain a pest-free environment, all dogs are required to be bathed prior to entering the boarding facility. If for any reason your dog can’t be bathed or is found to be infested with fleas or ticks, they will be given a Capstar. You will be charged a fee for the bath upon entry. This bath fee will entitle you to one “clean-up” bath should it become necessary. Your pet will go into our facility clean and he/she will go home with you clean and pest free.
All new clients will be required to hold their pet’s reservation with a credit card number. (please read about our Fees).

We will be happy to prepare your pet’s meals as you do at home for no additional charge.
